We are excited to announce our hands-on Phaco/SICS Surgical training program, which offers flexible durations ranging from 15 to 45 days based on the candidate’s preferences. Participants will have the opportunity to perform two or more cataract surgeries daily, closely supervised by our experienced consultants. Additionally, we offer an intensive crash course spanning 7-10 days.

With nearly four decades of dedicated service, DD EYE Institute has successfully trained numerous budding ophthalmologists. Our institute is equipped with state-of-the-art phaco machines, complemented by Zeiss & Lumera microscopes featuring binocular assistant microscopes and Sony three-chip cameras with advanced recording systems. Our medical facilities are fully developed, ensuring a comprehensive learning environment. The wet lab is furnished with a microscope fitted with a camera, a Phaco machine, and artificial eyes for thorough practice.

For SICS training, the charge per eye is 130 USD, while for phaco, it is 210 USD. In addition, hospital accommodation is available at a daily rate of 10-15 USD, and meals are provided at 7 USD. Alternatively, participants may choose to stay in a nearby hotel.

The training sessions will be held at our Jaipur branch, conveniently accessible via direct flights from all major airports. For those arriving at Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is approximately 250 km away, train transportation is also an option.

It’s important to note that foreign candidates must obtain permission from the Medical Council of India (MCI) for hands-on Phaco/SICS training in India, a process that typically takes 60 days. We encourage you to plan your program accordingly.
